Performance

Simone Grömminger began her stage career with a small role in the theater dance production "Decamerone" by the Tiroler Landestheater. During her training, she danced in various dance pieces by Jacky Westerhof, Phyllis Gutelius, Carlo Melis, Hin Ching Chang, Raymond Esterhuizen, and Rinus Sprong.

She was part of the "experimental combination of dance, music, video, and theatre – Humotions" at the Coberco factory in Arnhem, danced for the 50th anniversary with the Apeldoorn orchestra, and was a dancer in the children's production "Pop it!" by Stichting Dansinjectie, with which she traveled across the Netherlands to perform in hospitals for sick children.

Since 2008, she has been dancing with Dance Collective Jazzerina, which, as of 2008, is the only professional Dutch jazz dance company. Born out of the need to put jazz dance back on the map, Jazzerina provides choreographies inspired by contemporary jazz music. Choreographer Rina Bernabela selected six dancers, specialized in jazz dance and flamenco, to join the ensemble.
